my daughters 98 beetle has had three radiators that last three years ago, all regular maintenance including timing belt, but the coolant warning light goes on every 2-3- days, coolant needs to be added. need suggested points for inspection, solutions other than another radiator. Thanks
So coolant is being lost quickly enough that it needs to be added every coupld of days, yes? Was the radiator leaking all these other times it was replaced? They don’t usually fail at that rate.
Was a new radiator cap installed along with the new radiators?
Have you or your daughter seen a leak? No car should need frequent radiator replacement. If it is the radiator, where is it leaking? The same place? Only cause I can think of for frequent radiator replacement is bad engine mounts allowing the engine to rock, cracking the radiator hose attachment points.
