Trying to figure out what is causing the battery to lose its charge. I get a clicking sound when battery is dead. When it’s been charged, it turns over but wont’t start. can’t get into regular mechanic for a week. If it’s simple, I’ll take it elsewhere.
Any decent shop should be able to figure out what is causing these problems. They are nothing real difficult to solve.
If the battery in your vehicle is the original, it’s SHOT, and needs to be replaced.
If it’s already been replaced, have the battery and the charging system tested. Any mechanic should be able to do the test, and most auto parts stores will do it free.
