Have an 05 with 3.6l engine, when close to half tank the truck has a hesatation and rpm’s drop. Could that be a fuel reg. problem? Not had much luck from dealer.
Any Check Engine lights?
I doubt the fuel pressure regulator is at fault. It is more likely a fuel pump problem or a tank venting problem. Next time it happens, take the gas cap off and see if the problem goes away. If it does, the tank is not venting properly.
