Yes. Not to mention…I’ve still been driving the car. Of course not far out. But she’s still driveable. I was even thinking since the oil light do come on at different times that my motor may go out any min. But it doesn’t even seem like it. I’m not selling my car. I think I may even get a second and third opinion.
I think you will need to have the problems identified before you sue for compensation.
If the problem is a few broken wires that were damaged during the repair should you be entitled to a complete refund? I don’t think so.
However with the undiagnosed oil pressure problem it is likely that the engine was damaged beyond reasonable repair during the original event that damaged the head gaskets. Because of the cost of repairing late model engines, installing a used engine is the most common procedure.
I don’t agree with you to some degree neveda 545 bc I nvr had the oil light before going to this man’s repair shop. I know what’s really going on. The man liked me and I didn’t pursue him so he screwed my car over
What would he have done if he didn’t like you?
Assuming he wld have handled business in the way business is supposed to be handled. And not mix pleasure with business. I always kept it business from beginning to end. I guess he cldnt handle rejection from me and made me pay
I guess anything is possible. Still Nevada is a respected pro mechanic who posts here quite frequently, and who’s opinion shouldn’t be quickly dismissed. From what I’m gathering you’ve decided not to pursue this issue further with the shop or the courts, which imo is your best option.
With all do respect Pro mechanic or not I’m entitled to state my opinion. Please do not look to be rude or cause any confusion on my thread. Thanks✌
