Can I replace thermostat after removal
I assume you want to put the old one back in which may be original. Put a new one in while you have the opportunity .

Good idea to take a picture of it when you take it out so you make sure you put the new one in correctly
I’d buy it from the dealer to reduce the chance of a bad new one (it happens).
