Are any Rotors or Drums Made in the USA nowadays?

This stage act is entertaining but consider the political balancing act required of world leaders intent on keeping peace

If a diplomatic plate falls people may die. Possibly tens of thousands. And a snub as innocuous as sending an insignificant gift to a former leader of a country could result in a plate falling and knocking others off their perches. We may be attempting to keep too many plates in the air. It might be wise to consider allowing some to fall. But who is wise enough to choose which can fall without catastrophic results.

Ford dropped the Mercury line. GM dropped Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Saturn. MoPar dropped Plymouth. They seem to be better off for reducing their ā€˜platesā€™ to concentrate on those that remain.

I donā€™t disagree with focusing of resources and using over-whelming resources to insure success, but the issue is problem prevention versus problem resolution. It takes far fewer resources to prevent problems than to fix them. Being clear rather than confused and dealing from strength and determination rather than weakness and timidness, can prevent a lot of issues before they happen.

Car thefts are down in our town. We have a good aggressive police force. Anyone attempting a car theft knows they will be hit with an over-whelming response to secure the peace. Thatā€™s what I call effective. New York had a crime problem too until they started to not ignore small crimes and hit them with over-whelming response.

I miss some of these folks that used to be here. We should maybe be kinder and more welcoming. Happy (not really happy wish I was wrong) to see that my global supply chain comments for critical materials and equipment are maybe now being taken seriously. Not cars but if you are dead from lack of medicine or protective gear, you canā€™t drive.
