I do have to say that, while my '81 Chevy Citation was very unreliable, it was actually an improvement over my '74 Volvo. That should give you an idea of just how much of a disaster that Volvo was–from the first day that I owned it. And, the Citation was a “new” design vehicle, whereas that Volvo was a “tried and true” continuation of a model that had been in production for several years.
