Antifreeze/Coolant

If you have lost less than 50% of your antifreez/water mixture, just add some soda pop to the overflow tank, it will all come out in the wash, and no one but you need ever know. But if you have lost more than 50%, add beer. The way to find out if you have lost more or less than 50% is to drain the radiator and set that coolant asside. Then re-fill the radiator with a garden hose. Now drain it again and compare the two buckets to see which one has the most fluid in it. The go buy a gallon of new ready mix, and fill the radiator again. Just be sure to cover the tops of the two partially full buckets to keep out the cats and kids. Take the two buckets to a recycle place, and congradulate yourself for a timely renewal of your coolant. mop up any leaks, and drink the rest of the beer.

Remember that numerous times a life is saved by a young child calling 9-1-1, and using 911 could confuse a young child and cause lives to be lost. The reason they use 9-1-1 instead of 911 is for this reason, and it’s a good one.

True. The 9oz always has been a bit twitchy. Not nearly as reliable as the 8oz and 12oz version.

Does anyone have a good ice recipe?

Be nice guys. The OP is probably a very highly respected liberal arts professor.

That would depend on what the mixture was before you added anything. If it’s less than 50/50 (Antifreeze/Water) then you add antifreeze to make 50/50. If it’s more than 50/50, then you add water.

This is akin to a student asking a teacher what he needs on the next exam to raise his average. A test score above his average would raise the average. A test score below
his average would lower his average.

Ask your wife; women read their cookbooks and these things are described in many recipies.
