I participate in a consumer panel run by Costco, and apparently they are planning to expand their 4% rebate on gasoline purchases to include a 4% rebate on EV charging at public charging stations. They didn’t mention whether they are planning to install their own charging stations, and they have not given a timeline for when they will expand their rebate policy to include EV charging.
Would be interesting, depends on which existing companies they choose to partner with. Might help nudge my dad into EV ownership particularly if Costco offers it’s own chargers at some point.
