I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado and the airbag light keeps coming on intermitantly for just seconds at a time. The dealership said they could only check it while the light is lit up. That is going to be difficult. Any suggestions?
Oh they can check it and just about anything else,its just that the Dealer realises you probably don’t want to pay for a open ended search expedition. Have you given the Dealer permission to proceed without a limit on time you will be charged? What if they put 10 hrs in at 125.00hr. and don’t find the problem,will you pay the bill?
That is why they say “NO” until the problem is constant.
The only thing I can suggest is to look and see if any airbag codes are stored in history and a general check of the entire electrical system,would be costly with no guarantee of a good outcome.
