My elderly aunt didn’t need any help with that task, unfortunately.
Because the presence of seat belts in her Malibu represented some sort of “government conspiracy to keep me from moving around in my car” 
, she took a steak knife to the belts in her brand new car.
I asked her just how far she wanted to move around in the car.
Do you want to sit in the front passenger seat while you are driving?
Do you want to sit in the rear seat?
She accused me of being “impertinent”.
Everything became more clear a year or so later, when she was diagnosed with Dementia.
