The AC seems to be charged properly, but it cycles on and of by itself about every 10 seconds or so.

It’s supposed to cycle on and off. That’s normal. If it’s cycling to rapidly, then the system may be low on refrigerant.

What does “seems to be charged properly” mean. Either it’s charged properly or it isn’t.

The compressor will also cycle on and off if you have the HVAC control set to “defrost.”

If it cycling every 10 seconds the system is low.

True, unless the blower is set to its lowest setting.

It was a bit low, filled it to the upper end of the range.

Seems ok now…
