Have recieved 2nd opinon on check engine light diagnosic.Mechanic tells me that catalitic converter needs to be replaced and 02 sensor no replacement needed.Total estimate with parts and labor $668.00.Is this a fair price.1st shop estimate 1400.00 for cat coverter and 02 sensor they say needs to be replaced also. Any advice or do i need 3rd estimate. Thank you Jack
How many miles on the car? You’re still under federal warranty on the converter if you’re under a certain amount of miles I believe.
