On my brake problem, it was a very expensive brake computer. I had figured that out myself by the way it behaved. It had to be the output circuits, not the computer part. The mech at the dealer had to call a tech support center for help, and came to the same conclusion. Works okay now, it was very expensive, but I did some serious analysis, and concluded deprecation on a new car would be much more. Also, I am not sure I want to drive a new car into Tamaulipas, the state where the worst drug wars are. So, we went for it.
