The Jeep motor just cuts off when going around a corner. It will restart after one or two tries but it is a nuisance . Also, the console lights all come on sometime and you have to turn off the key and then back on to get them back to normal. The oil change message also comes on a long time before the oil is due to be changed.
By “console lights” I presume you mean the various warning lights. Those will come on whenever the ignition is on but the engine isn’t running. So if the engine dies they’ll naturally come on. Have a mechanic check for stored codes that might give a clue as to what’s been happening. My guess would be that it’s fuel system related. BTW, your Jeep carried a 36 mo/36000 mile warranty. If you’re within that interval have a dealer fix it under warranty.
Try driving your Jeep with just a single key in the ignition, no dangling key chain. If that helps you probably need a new ignition switch ass’y.
