I’ve got a 2000 Grand Prix and recently the lower speeds on the air conditioning don’t work. There are 6 settings (off, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) and only 3-5 work properly. 1 & 2 produce no airflow in any of the functions (heat, a/c or just air). When turned on, 3 works at the same level as it did previously, as do 4 and 5, it seems the low speeds have simply stopped working.
I’m a college student with a dad who is pretty handy, and we’re hoping that we can fix this ourselves and save a few dollars. Any ideas as to what it could be and how to fix it?
