just bought the car took it to the tire shop and as useual they want to change the tie rod ends inner and outter, both hub bearings, and ball joints for a grand total of 812 bucks.now im wondering both tires will move left to right but not up and down when a bearing goes out wont it make some kind of noise ,a roaring cause mine doesnt do that, there is quite a bit of slack in the tire left to right so im going to replace both inner and outter tie rods my self. is this a job i can do i know i need a special tool for the inner, anything else i need to know ?? thanks guys for your help

Most times, you need a special long socket. It costs over $100 sometimes. Sometimes there is no noise when something wears out. Wheel bearings are the silent kind of worn out.
