99 escort 2.0 will not start. Has spark, fuel pressure, and 100 psi compression in each cylinder. After cranking for awhile , pull the plugs out and the plugs are wet with fuel. There is no answers anywhere on the net, but apparently there are others like this out there. No codes also.
I think at least part of the answer is in 100psi per cylinder (which is about 80psi too low). At 100psi I’m not sure how hard I’d work to see if it will run. If it does run at all it won’t run that well and will lack power. Check to see if the timing belt maybe jumped a tooth. You also want to check fuel pressure with a gauge - having fuel pressure & having the correct fuel pressure are not the same.
