Intermittently, my trip odometer and my radio will turn themselves off when the car is not running. Also, my temperature gauge has stopped working completely. Do these have any relationship, to each other and what is a likely problem with the odometer and radio?
I don’t know about the odometer but the radio on my 98 Park Avenue would turn off automatically after ten minutes when the engine was turned off. I believe it’s a built in feature. Check your owners manual.
Yes, normally the radio would turn off, but when I start the car with my key, the radio automatically comes back on, on the station that I preselected. Now, sometimes it has to be manually turned on and it will be on a different station. Also, the trip odometer will have gone to zero.
