A couple of weeks ago the check engine light on my 98 Toyota Camry (V6, American) with 94K miles. My mechanic replaced 3 fuel sensors. After a few days the light came back on. The mechanic said that sometimes you just have to reset the memory a few times. He’s now “reset” the memory 2 times since the repair and the light is back on again. Has anyone ever heard of this? Did he mis diagnose?

Methinks, your mechanic is short on knowledge. What are the codes? Just give us the numbers, and we can take it from there.
