I have a 1997 ford ranger with 125,000 miles.
2 years ago I changed the dpfe sensor with an aftermarket sensor which goes bad every 6 mos. or 4,000 miles - all replaced free/warranty. it passes emmissions every year and runs fine.I’m thining it might be a semi clogged catalytic converter causing the sensor to go bad, but not sure. If so, has anybody had any success with the cataclean cleaner? Any ideas, or is it just time to change the cat. converter? or install a motorcaraft dpfe sensor. Thanks.
