My 4.0L Explorer idles fast. I can not figure out why or how to adjust it. Any suggestions?
It will be computer controlled and has no adjustment.
Clean your idle air control valve and check its power supply.
Check for vacuum leaks - I find the easiest thing is to use an unlit propane torch rigged with a length of vacuum tubing - you feed it around vacuum items and listen for change in engine rpm.
