My dodge does not turn over when the temp gets below 15 degrees. I have cleaned the battery teminals and charged the battery still no turn over of starter or engine. Tried jumping car still no good. Replaced starter first time this happened last year that did not work either. Is there some kind of sensor or something that may need to be replaced. Once temp rises above 15 degrees no problems truck turns over and starts like a champ.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
How old is your battery, it might be time for a new one. If your battery passes the test next things to look at are oil, are you using a straight weight or no, starter motor might be getting weak, or a poor connection, and would you consider getting a block heater put in, I always use mine at temps of 15 or below.
