our 94 ford escorts headlights go out when we hit a boump in road… have replaced relay but problem persists
Sounds like you have a bad connection, or just a loose connection, somewhere. Could be a hot wire or a ground wire. Start checking the headlight wiring circuit for dirty or corroded connections, broken wires, and continuity.
Does it make any difference if the lights are on high or low beam?
Do you know if the tail lights go out at the same time?
lights were on low beam and the tail lights went out also…emergency flashers worked and when i restarted engine all was well
