94 Nissan pickup, 4 cylinder, started turning over slow a year ago. Replaced old battery, still turns over slow (occasionally barely starting). All connections clean and tight, belt new and snug, battery tests full. Is there anything other than the starter could be causing this? With just 79k miles, thinking starter should go further.
Although starters can last a lot longer, this one could be failing all the same. It happens. You could remove it and have it tested at the parts store to be sure.
It could also be faulty cables. The connections could be fine but the insides of the cable, inside the insulation could be corroded.
