'94 honda civic soft clutch

I just replaced the clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel, put everything back together, bled the hydrolic clutch, but the petal is still soft. Could it be the slave cylinder or master cylinder and how would I tell?

Did you try driving it? I just replaced the clutch on a co-workers Contour. And the first words out of his mouth were, “The clutch pedal feels soft.” He was used to the old worn stiff clutch assembly. But it shifts fine.

The car won’t start. The starter will turn, but it doesn’t sound like the flywheel is turning.

That’s a different problem. My guess, since you did the clutch, is that the safety switch is disconnected. Your car has a switch that won’t enable the starter circuit unless the clutch is pushed in. It prevents engaging the starter motor while the drivetrain is engaged.
