168,000 miles, manual xmission - had the front rotors replaced 1 year ago. I heard on car talk last week about something may be wrong with the slave/master cylinder? The slave and master were replaced approx 1.5 years ago. The harder I need to brake, the greater the shudder so low speed stops are not bad but it does give all the symptoms of a bad rotor. Any ideas?
Yes, those are the symptoms of a bad rotor. Yours may be warped even though they were replaced a year ago. Have someone measure the rotors to see if they are warped.
