1993 dodge dynasty 3.3 6 cyl 200 something miles…tranny doesnt seem to be shifting, i added tranny fluid, still no help… might i need a new transmission ?
It’s certainly possible given the age and mileage. A good independent transmission shop will tell you what the deal is, whether it can be rebuilt or needs to be replaced. Assuming that’s what will be needed, I’d think twice before dropping that kind of money on a 15-year-old vehicle with over 200K miles.
And just for future reference, simply adding transmission fluid to a misbehaving transmission isn’t likely to help anything.
