have 86 toyota van/le/4 cyl-automatic[no 4 weel drive] with over 250 miles.trany has been rebuilt twice- changed the fluids-filter
problem: the trany will not shift in to higher gears unless the motor gets hot. i have to let the engine idle for 5 minuts, then the trany will shift in to higher gears, other wise if i start it up put it in drive, it will not get out of first gear? untill the motor heats up, once the motor heats up,then the trany shifts ok?
