A friend just bought a new 2007 Chevy truck with a Flex Fuel 5.3 V8. Any comments or problems know?

Yeah, it’s not a very good vehicle… tell you what, I’ll take it off his hands for him… no charge.
Actually, to the best of my knowledge, it’s perfectly fine. But check on the NHTSA website for any recalls or notices, if any.
There is a substantial drop in horsepower and mileage when using E-85 (85% Ethanol).
My '02 Tahoe 5.3L is flex fuel capable too, but I’ll never use it because all this truck does is pull a travel trailer. (it’s not a daily driver)
