A friend recently drove my 95 jeep cherokee sport in low range 4x4 at about 40 mph for about 6-8 miles. It seems ok … but is it?
As long as everything still works the same as it used to, everything’s fine. 40 mph is probably about as fast as they could get it to go in low range. I once had to drive a customer’s vehicle (also a Jeep Cherokee) back to the shop in 4LO when the high range failed during a test drive.
