Always clean the underside and the engine compartment before you try and sell a car. Toss in a new air filter. Scrub the interior, clean the glass, clean out the spare tire well, everywhere the prospective buyer might look. Add air to the spare and set pressures on all 4 tires.

It shows prospective buyers you took care of the car. The used car dealers do this.

Or simply trade the car in and avoid all that work.

And avoid the additional money between trading and selling retail.

He paid mechanic $75 to clean it.and it’s sold. Buyer may not of even looked under rig. Or had it inspected.
