I get a stock engine low, coolant light. The coolant is not low. I put some in anyway and the light came on the next day and it’s still not low.
What do you suspect it could be
2024??? - bring it to the dealer,
if not - most likely a bad coolant level sensor, bad connection, chaffed or burnt wire.

Agree Chinese sensor needs to be replaced. If it is like my olds, the sensor grounds to fluid in the radiator to keep it off. If the fluid gets low, the d round is lost and the light came on. After ten years and a couple hundred thousand miles, I just used a clamp to ground it to keep the light off. No point doing that with a new car but these are owned by China now not Sweden.
2024 V40 is not an actual car so, presumably, it’s a typo. 2014, maybe? Level sensor is in the expansion tank so it’s quick & cheap to replace.
