I recently had my 2014 cadallic in for a total maintenance check and repair to the tune of $8000.00 Tires included in this total. I drove the car home parked as always in drive way and then drove it later into the garage. when I cranked the car it indicated no problems however when I put it in reverse and started to back it up the brake went all the way to the floor. I thought it was just a fluke but it did it again and I had to put it in park to stop it from rolling into the street. I really am afraid to drive it now. does anyone have any comments on this.
Call the shop that did the work and tell them
also tell them you are afraid to drive it and that they need to get it towed.

Call the shop (likely the dealership, given the $8k bill), and tell them that they need to send a flatbed carrier to bring the unsafe vehicle back to the shop.

Did they work on the brakes? Kinda vague.

No, not a fluke. Suggest to never ignore the “brake pedal goes to the floor” symptom, esp if it occurs when engine is still running, as there is definitely some sort of problem that must be addressed before driving car. There’s no way to tell if this is related to the prior maintenance work. Shop diagnosis needed.

8,000 $ in repairs?!?? What did they do exactly?
