leather seat cracking
Are you already out of warranty?? (not sure what the seat warranty is, never looked)
What has the dealership said about it?
Are they truly cracking or exhibiting normal creasing?
Yeah, I would think the leather would be covered by your 3/36 warranty. If your Lexus is more than 3 or 36K, replace/repair is on you. Your dealership might replace the seat covers as a goodwill gesture.
Lexus’s “bumper-to-bumper” warranty is 4 years/50k miles, whichever comes first. Unless the OP has driven this vehicle more than 50k miles, the seat problem should be covered by that warranty… unless the leather was gouged or damaged in some way.
If the car is out of warranty…I’d suggest some kind of leather conditioner like Leather Honey or something by the Chemical Guys.
Hopefully this will be covered by warranty, though.
Seems to be another one and done sadly… Hope not but…
How about some pictures?
As mentioned earlier, there are differences between cracked and creased
