who makes the air bags used in the Honda Civic LX 2019? Is is still Takata and why should I trust them?
I don’t know who makes the airbags. There are no recalls or complaints on the Civic airbag system, although there are airbag recalls on other vehicles. If you want to look up any active recalls on the Civic, look here:
Takata no longer exists, some assets are owned by another company now. Honda uses 3 suppliers now, Daicel, Autoliv and TRW.
My dad’s 2007 Crv is one of the many recalled Honda’s, He’s about to trade up to a 2019 CRV in the next week if they can trade for his preferred color.
