More and more, I see people shutting off their engines red lights and in the drive-through ,this can’t be a good idea,Or am I wrong?

Many vehicles now have start/stop features and yes it is a good idea.
This will fully explained to you with a simple Google - Bing - Alexus or Cortana search.

You are wrong. People are not doing that, the vehicles have automatic start/stop, this is to squeeze out a trace more MPG. Most vehicles allow the operator to switch off this function.
