Doesn’t apply to the Q7 either. But I own a 2014 Audi A4 2.0 turbo 4… so far so good!
Carcomplaints.com shows 11 complaints for the 2018 Q7 and none of them are like yours. These were all pulled from NHTSA.gov. It doesn’t look like a lot of people share your problem.
Which engine does yours have? The 4 or the v6? If the 4, then it’s one year removed from the problem years.
