I just had a non rear defrosting window replaced and they only had the window with the defroster already incorporated in the window. Is there a way to actually hook this up so it works?
It seems like it should be possible, just some wire, a fuse and a switch, right? Your fuse block probably already has a slot for the fuse. But in my limited experience US vehicles generally have the rear defroster on a timer, presumably the body control module. You might risk cracking the glass if you leave it on too long.
