Thinking about to buy a 2017 NISSAN TITAN SV/SL/PRO-4X/PLAT any thoughts please tia
Yes. Take this truck to a mechanic OF YOUR CHOICE, not someone the seller recommends, for a.pre-purchase inspection. It will be the best $150 you ever spend.
Have it checked over and see if the 5 year 100K bumper to bumper that came with it new is transferrable to you or not . If it is then that is peace of mind till 100000 miles .
The warranty is transferable, from the warranty booklet for 2017
“WHO IS THE WARRANTOR Nissan warrants all parts of your 2017 Nissan vehiclesupplied by Nissan, except for those listed elsewhereunder the caption “WHAT IS NOT COVERED.”APPLICABILITYThis warranty is provided to the original and subse-quent owner(s) of a Nissan vehicle originally distrib-uted by Nissan which is originally sold by a Nissanauthorized Nissan dealership in the United States, and which is registered in the U.S. and normallyoperated in the United States (including Alaska andHawaii), the United States territories (specificallyGuam, Saipan, American Samoa, Puerto Rico andthe U.S. Virgin Islands), and Canada. This warranty is generally transferable from the origi-nal ‘owner other than a Nissan dealer’ (OWNER) tosubsequent owners of the vehicle at any time own-ership of the vehicle is transferred, without any ac-tion on your part”
Miles/price? Than I will offer an opinion
… assuming that the previous owner maintained it properly, in accordance with the mfr’s maintenance schedule.
If somebody selling a 2 year old vehicle claims to not have any maintenance receipts, that would be a good signal to walk away from a vehicle whose warranty could have been voided through lack of maintenance.
