I get a message on my dash that says keyless entry battery low. Honda Ridgeline, 2017. I don’t see a battery in the fob. What is this?
The message is clear enough, you need to replace the battery. Just because you can’t see one doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Go on YouTube and search for howmto replace the battery. Better you should see it than read instructions.
Or head to the dealer and have them do it. Or go to Batteries Plus and have them do it.
Page 543 of the owners manual shows how to replace the transmitter battery.
CR2032 is a common transmitter battery, $1-$2 each.
