2017 Honda Accord clock resets to 10 AM every start

2017 Honda accord clock resets to 10:00 AM every time you start your car. There is no description anywhere as to how to eradicate the problem.

Two possibilities come to mind. First, your battery could be weak enough that the clock loses power when most of the current is going to the starter. Second, your Body Control Module could be failing. It’s responsible for lots of minor stuff like interior light delay.

I had this problem on my 1990 Ford Aerostar. I ignored the problem until I had stopped at.a gas station to fill the tank. When I tried to start the engine, there was nothing. The lights wouldn’t even come on. The engine wouldn’t even start with a jump. I replaced the battery and that took care of the problem. Have your battery tested before you get stranded.
