slow drain on battery, this is the second one in a year and a half.
If you are not able or willing to do as suggested above, then you need to find a shop able to diagnose the problem or find an automotive electrical shop to find the problem… or keep dealing with battery issues…
Now you can also just be buying cheap/junk battery’s, or not driving the vehicle enough to keep the battery charged…
We will need more info to be able to help you more… like how many miles to you drive a day between starts, how long does the vehicle sit (3 days, weeks, months)?? Do you have any electronics plugged into a constant power port?? Do you have any aftermarket audio, video, lights, etc installed on the vehicle??
Suggest to start by monitoring the GMC’s lighting 2-3 hours after you’ve parked it up, locked the doors, & stopped using it for the day. No lights should be on. Besides the obvious, check:
- dashboard
- brake lights
- interior lights
- engine compartment lights
- glove compartment
