I am also having the same problem with my 2017 Acura ILX. When slowing down and about to stop the car suddenly lunges forward and I feel like I got rear ended. Is this a defect and/or is there a fix?

As far as what’s causing the car to lunge forward when about to stop, could be
some sort of transmission/torque convertor problem. Any difference to what you feel/hear when you shift from D to N slightly before this happens?
