I have a 2016 golf 1.8. is there anyway to disconnect the stupid traction control? any other vehicle has a simple button to push and voilà good to go.
I don’t know but why would you want to do that .
Well because when it snows I can’t get the traction needed without the car going into stutter mode even with winter tires on. It’s more of an inconvenience than a safety issue.
The Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) can be switched off in the Infotainment system.
