A 2016 Outback 4 cyl that had a complete electrical outage (engine, all accessories) while driving. All the lights in the instrument cluster came on. It restarted immediately and seems fine now.
That’s probably normal anytime engine stalls. Check if those dash lights are the same ones that turn on any time key is “on” and engine not running.
Suggest to describe the sequence of events in more detail. You may or may not have an electrical system problem, based on your initial post.
I experienced a similar-sounding event one time. Turned out to be caused by problematic connections at battery posts. Cleaned and tightened, never occurred again. In my case I expect some unusually cold temperatures contributed.

I’m with George. Check the battery connections and have a mechanic scan it for codes.
