My 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport makes like a spin out type of noise while I’m drivine. The RMS do go up some, but not a lot. I notice it mostly while accelerating around 30-40 mph. It also does it when i’m slowing down.
My guess you have a transmission issue. Transmissions need to be serviced at 30-50,000 mile intervals. Manufacturers often say 100,000 miles, but then the vehicle is out of warranty.
Have the transmission fluid changed, you might get lucky and it will correct the problem.
