2016 Dodge grand caravan power sliding door will open slightly then close automatically. .
Have you been to the dealer or another shop for a diagnosis? I checked at safercar.gov, and the are a lot of complaints for both rear doors not unlocking or not sliding, but not recalls, formal Chrysler investigations or manufacturer communications. It looks like you have a different problem, but maybe it’s the same.

Inspect the lower track for debris, if there is an obstruction the door will auto-reverse.

allpar.com has a forum for Chry Co minivans. That’s been my go-to place for help with the two I’ve owned. Good luck and please let us know how it works out.
