I have a 2016 Chrysler 200 2.4 engine with an oil consumption problem that started a month ago when the vehicle had twenty thousand miles on it. I’m currently conducting an oil consumption test with my dealer to see if I need a new engine.
My questions
A). Where any of the replacement engines any good?
b). To the owners of the vehicles that only burn a quart of oil every thousand miles and Chrysler has not replace the engine. What has Chrysler offered to do?
The vehicle you drive is a FIAT design.
Not Chrysler.
The owner’s manual will reflect what is considered normal oil consumption.
Tester
That is irrelevant, the warranty repairs must be performed at a Chrysler dealer, not a Fiat dealer.

Is this info in the owner’s manual? I just looked at the factory owner’s manuals for this car and didn’t see anything. It would be great to see it in print somewhere.
