I generally don’t use my radio that much which means it is turned off when a shut down my truck. When I go to start the truck again, the radio comes on automatically. I’ve worked with Chevrolet customer support in trying to reset the system, but that hasn’t been successful. Do you have any ideas as to how to keep my radio off until I want it on, other than removing it or the speakers? Thanks.
Find the hot wire to the radio and install an inline switch.
